Meet The Potty Training Professor

Helping parents trade frustration for confidence, one potty-trained toddler at a time.

I Didn't set out To Become "The Potty Training Professor."

I set out to survive potty training five boys.

As a mom of five sons, I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the “please tell me this gets better” moments. By the time I was in the thick of it, I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and looking for something that actually worked. I didn’t want a process that made my child feel defeated, and I definitely didn’t want one that made our house miserable.

So I started doing what moms do best. I researched. I learned. I leaned on my background in early childhood education, and I built a plan that focused on encouragement instead of pressure.

The results changed everything.

By the time my fourth son was just eighteen months old, he was fully potty trained.

That’s when I realized this wasn’t just luck. There was a better way to teach this skill, and other parents needed it too.

What started with my own family quickly grew into helping others. My first clients were military families looking for a practical, realistic approach that fit their busy lives. Today, through books, workshops, coaching, and my Potty Training Without Pressure program, I’ve helped parents across the country trade frustration for confidence.

With more than twenty years of experience in early childhood education, certification through the North Carolina Division of Child Development, and extensive work with children of all abilities, I’ve learned one simple truth:

Children can learn. Parents just need a plan they can believe in.

And that’s exactly what I’m here to give you.

My Philosophy

Potty Training Is a Skill

Children aren’t trying to be difficult. They’re learning something new, and every child learns at their own pace.

Progress Over Perfection

Forget the pressure and the social media timelines. Small wins turn into big victories.

Parents Need Support Too

Potty training isn’t just about teaching kids. It’s about giving parents the confidence to stick with the plan.

"I've never met a child who couldn't learn. I've just met a lot of parents who were told they were doing it wrong."

Whether you need a book, a workshop, or a little one-on-one guidance, I’d love to help.
